Where We Go

Tatanca primarily offers safaris and tours in the Southern Circuit of Tanzania which is a true 'Adventure in the heart of Africa'.

This region rivals the Serengeti for the variety and number of game animals.

The Southern Circuit is Tanzania in her most pristine form, off the beaten track, away from the crowds of tourists and the sound of other safari vehicles. Here you will find prolific wildlife untouched by human interaction in a part of the continent where time has stood still.

Beside the traditional Game Drives, there is:

  • Ruaha National Park

Ruaha National Park is Tanzania’s and East Africa’s largest park with an area of about 20 226 km2 , it is next only to Katavi Park in its untouched wilderness,

  • Mikumi National Park

The open horizons and abundant wildlife of the Mkata Floodplain, the centerpiece of Mikumi Park, can be compared to the famous Serengeti.

  • Udzungwa National Park

The park offers excellent hiking and wildlife viewing opportunities. A variety of trails are available to suit different abilities, including the  half day hike to Sanje Waterfalls

  • Selous Game Reserve

Africa’s 2nd largest wildlife sanctuary was designated as a United Nations World Heritage Site in 1982

  • Kitulo National Park

Tanzania's newest park is a rare botanical marvel, the first national park in tropical Africa to be gazetted largely for it floral significance.

  • Saadani National Park
