9 Days Tanzania Adventure Safari
fromA wonderful introduction to the smaller wildlife and spectacular array of the Ruaha National Park, a 2-3 hour walking safari, in the company of a knowledgeable guide, offers a truly special and unique perspective of the park’s fascinating inhabitants. A not-to-be-missed attraction are the park’s towering baobabs who stand vigil over the landscape. Their striking appearance makes for great photographic opportunities! Another prominent feature of Ruaha are the sparkling waterways that attract an abundance of game. The best time to embark on a walking safari is in late June. A walking safari is definitely one of the best ways to see and appreciate the magnitude of the Serengeti & Ngorongoro eco-systems. Wild Frontiers have some fantastic walking safaris in their portfolio of trips in Tanzania. Tanzania National Parks have opened up some great wilderness areas for walking safaris, and we are privileged to actually walk INSIDE the Serengeti. Our safaris combine a few days on foot (with a light mobile camp and support crew), as well as some vehicle based game viewing, and of course we visit Ngorongoro and Manyara or Tarangire parks en route.
